On September 1, four new apprentices began their professional careers: two started training as Industrial Management Assistants, while the other two began their training as Technical System Planners specializing in HVAC technology.
To help them get started, our new apprentices were given the opportunity to take an active role right away. During an apprentice rally, they independently explored our company - from its history and various departments to practical topics such as safety and key contacts within the company. This allowed them to get to know Kiefer firsthand from day one and meet some of their new colleagues.
At Kiefer, we focus on practical training and active involvement from the very beginning. After thorough onboarding, our apprentices are directly integrated into ongoing projects, allowing them to gain first-hand experience of our day-to-day operations. The numerous IHK and BTGA awards our apprentices have received as top performers in their graduating classes in recent years also demonstrate the success of this approach.
Training as an Industrial Management Assistant
During this training program, our apprentices gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial and business processes of an industrial company - from materials and warehouse management, purchasing and sales to financial accounting and controlling. They request quotations, negotiate with suppliers, oversee the receipt of goods, and assist with invoice verification and bookkeeping.
Training as a Technical System Planner
This training program focuses on creating drawings and plans for HVAC systems, as well as working with modern CAD software. At the same time, our apprentices learn how to perform technical calculations and prepare supporting documentation for projects.
