The INDUSAIL LUMINOUS is a multifunctional lighting sail system. Pleasant acoustics are combined with comfortable cooling and ventilation, as well as integral LED area lighting. This provides near-daylight quality, glare-free illumination based on circadian light cycles, thereby reducing fatigue.

The perfect indoor environment thanks to four functions: superb lighting, draught-free fresh air supply, comfortable cooling and a high level of sound absorption for a feel-good climate to everyone's liking. The INDUSAIL LUMINOUS offers flexible expansion options and can be combined with the plus, air and silent designs. It can be used in isolation in individual offices, for example, or throughout open-plan offices. As such, the INDUSAIL LUMINOUS offers maximum flexibility when it comes to designing the office landscape.
The fan draws ambient air into the unit via a filter cell and channels it through the heat exchanger.
The air is cooled by the cold water flowing within the heat exchanger. The cooled recirculation air is then introduced into the room from four sides, in a highly inductive, draught-free manner, through Kiefer air diffusers, type INDUL P18. The filter cell protects the internal components from soiling. As an option, it is possible to feed preconditioned primary air into the sail via an air connection (DN 125). This primary air is used to maintain the intended minimum outdoor air flow rate for the room (EN ISO 15251).
Illuminated acoustic ceiling sail with fresh air supply only; no recirculation air cooling. The preconditioned primary air is fed into the sail via an air connection (DN 125) and introduced into the room via the integral, highly inductive type INDUL P18 discharge profiles around the edge of the sail. This primary air is used to maintain the intended minimum outdoor air flow rate for the room (EN ISO 15251). The discharge characteristics are identical to those of the INDUSAIL LUMINOUS plus and achieve the same level of comfort at high air exchange rates.
Lighting sail only, similar in appearance to the INDUSAIL LUMINOUS plus. The acoustic ceiling sail with active lighting has an outer lining of highly absorbent insulating material to achieve very good sound absorption and therefore improved interior acoustics. It can easily be combined with the other plus and air versions, and serves as an extended design element.
Featuring state of the art LED technology, the lighting sail is durable and easy to service. The sail has hinges to provide easy access for maintenance and inspection of the unit. Replacing the air cooler filters at regular intervals is straightforward and this can be done from outside the unit without tools.
Light controls our biological rhythms and has a significant impact on our biological and emotional wellbeing. Good light boosts performance and concentration, reduces errors and prevents fatigue.
The INDUSAIL LUMINOUS creates an optimal lighting situation for good visual function and perfect visual comfort. With the optional “tunable white” version, it is possible to freely adjust the light colour between cool white (6500 K) and warm white (2700 K), and to dim the light. This enables circadian lighting control, closely aligned with natural lighting conditions by day and night. It is particularly suitable for illuminating indoor workspaces where an optimum environment is required for focused working without causing fatigue.
