CONCRETCOOL is a new, innovative system for cooling concrete ceilings in offices and administration buildings, hospitals and hotels with supply air as the cooling medium.

The air cools the concrete ceiling, and the ceiling simultaneously warms the air to displacement air temperature. In the process only the hygienically necessary amount of outdoor air is used for cooling the ceiling. Energy saving is achieved because the supply air is warmed by the concrete ceiling, while simultaneously the ceiling is cooled for free by the outdoor air.

In comparison with conventional systems, energy savings of up to 50% are possible. Cooling capacities in the range 30 - 70 W/m² can be achieved within the limits specified in DIN 1946 Part 2.
